1. Our 2011 rate is $10,300 full boat charter for 2,3 or 4 guests. Price is in US dollars. For quotations in other currencies, please contact us. (Note: we offer a special price for cruises starting in April, May 1-10 and October of $9,300)
2. You and your party book the entire boat. No other bookings will be made for that cruise. All cruises are 7days/6nights.
3. Cruising starts at 4:00 p.m. of the first day and ends at 9:00 a.m. of the final day.
4. The season will be from April to mid October.
5. Reservations require 20% deposit. Full payment is due 90 days prior to departure. In the event of cancellation, in all cases, a refund (less paypal charges) will be made only if the space is resold. These terms are standard for the French cruising industry. We strongly recommend that our guests take out private trip insurance which is available from your insurance or travel agent.
6. If, for any reason, we are not able to provide a barge for the dates reserved we will make a full and immediate refund of monies paid.
7. Longer cruises may be available by adding days to the start and/or end of the cruise week. Please contact us for more information and availability.
8. We provide double staterooms with private bath equipped with linens and towels. All meals on board, wines, beers and soft drinks are included; if guests wish to dine ashore we will be happy to make reservations, however it would be at guest's own expense. Typically 3-4 meals per cruise are onshore at guest's expense. We also provide use of the ship's bicycles plus transportation and entrance fees for scheduled sightseeing excursions. Additional fees for activities such as golf, tennis, fishing, ballooning, etc. are the responsibility of the guests.
9. We DO NOT INCLUDE air or ground transportation to and from out boat. We will keep in close touch prior to your arrival and will arrange to pick you up at a nearby train station. Also not included are unscheduled sightseeing excursions or meals on shore.
10. U.S. citizens are required to have a valid passport to enter France, Belgium, Holland or Germany. No visas are required for stays up to 90 days.
11. Unexpected circumstances such as weather, canal closures and maintenance may necessitate changes to our cruise routes. These changes are rare and we reserve the right to alter our routes accordingly.
12. We always want to provide a safe and comfortable cruise for our guests aboard "Imagine", however, by booking with Imagine Barging, LLC our guests recognize the existence of hazards natural to travel by boat or vehicle such as, but not limited to, slipping, falling, tripping or collision. The boat, its owners and agents assume no liability for a guests illness, injury, death or loss of personal property while on a scheduled cruise, however caused.
13. For the comfort and safety of all, smoking is not allowed aboard the boat.
