Shown above is the floorplan of our barge "Imagine". She was built in 1906 and was originally a sailing ship. Her steel hull is 24 meters in length and 4.6 meters wide (78ft x 15 ft). Power is from a 6 cylinder Volvo Penta Marine Diesel Engine. Electricity is provided by batteries and a 6kva generator.
Each stateroom is air conditioned, has twin beds (which may be made up as a queen bed if requested), opening skylight and plenty of hanging and shelf space for clothes. The adjacent private bathrooms have a sink, toilet and a spacious shower.
One of the favorite locations on "Imagine" is the spacious outdoor deck with it's large sun-shade, dining table, lounge chairs and refrigerator which is kept stocked with complimentary water, soft drinks, beer and local wines.
